In early August Lizzy and I went on a seven day cruise on the Rhine River in Germany. Here's Lizzy in Susbachwalden. I captured this from my video camera using Snappy. |

Here I am doing what I do most of the time when traveling. I took over six hours of video tape on this trip. The Rhine river looked like this whenever we were near a town. Would you like to view all of the video someday? |

Here we are on a walk to the town of Cochem on the Mosel River. Notice the beautiful castle in the background. |

For quite a few hours one day we viewed castles along both sides of the river. Most of them seem to be hotels now. Around all of the castles and anywhere they could be grown were vineyards. The rows would always be up and down the slopes.

In the middle of every town we visited was an incredible cathedral.
The one in Cologne was the largest and most beautiful. In order to get it
all in one photo you had to be pretty far away. Below is another one from
somewhere!  |
